Improved elastic wave exploration service

NETIS, registered as a patent! This method allows for the overall evaluation of the embankment in a planar manner.

Our company has developed an "Improved Elastic Wave Exploration" method to quantitatively and spatially evaluate the integrity (deformation level) of mass concrete in dams, which is being utilized in sand control dams nationwide. By setting up vibration points around the dam, we analyze the elastic waves that pass through the concrete in both vertical and horizontal directions, visualizing the elastic wave velocity distribution spatially and evaluating it quantitatively. The on-site work takes about 1 to 2 days, and the analysis results are organized visually in an easily understandable manner using contours and meshes. 【Awards and Achievements】 ■ Infrastructure Maintenance Award: Excellence Award (Received in 2021) ■ NETIS Registration Number: KT-190137-A (Registered in 2019) ■ Patent Registration Number: No. 6396074 (Registered in 2018) *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Seabed exploration services

There is a record of surveys conducted from extremely shallow waters to a depth of 1,500 meters! Introducing seabed exploration.

In ocean engineering, we conduct "seafloor exploration" using side-scan sonar, which allows us to create acoustic images of the seafloor over a wide area. There are single-beam and multi-beam methods for side-scan sonar, and our company owns both. Unlike the traditional single-beam method, the multi-beam method emits multiple highly directional beams, enabling us to obtain uniform and clear seafloor images even at high-speed measurements of up to 10 knots. 【Features】 - The underwater position during side-scan sonar towing can be accurately determined using underwater positioning equipment. - Simultaneous recording of seafloor exploration and geological layer exploration is possible. - We own specialized hydraulic armored cable winches for towing cables, including lightweight cables for shallow waters, as well as small (500m), medium (1,500m), and large (3,000m) options. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Stratum exploration services

Exploration records of geological layers up to a depth of 5,000 meters can be obtained! Investigations can also be conducted in a short period and at low cost.

In ocean engineering, we conduct "stratum exploration" to understand the geological structures beneath the seabed. We emit sound waves underwater and receive and process the reflected waves from the stratum boundaries beneath the seabed to grasp the strata. Our company is equipped with devices that can acquire high-resolution data from the seabed surface, capable of obtaining data at depths of up to 5,000 meters. 【Measurement Methods】 ■ Fixed Type - A method of installing the stratum exploration device on the bottom or side of a survey vessel. ■ Towed Type - A method of incorporating the stratum exploration device into a towed body. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Ground Penetrating Radar Survey Service

Investigation of voids and looseness, diagnosis of structural deterioration, and investigation of underground buried pipes.

Our company conducts surveys using ground-penetrating radar. Ground-penetrating radar is a exploration method that utilizes the property of electromagnetic waves to reflect when they encounter materials with different electrical characteristics while propagating through the air or underground. By emitting electromagnetic waves from the surface or within a borehole into the ground (or within a structure) and analyzing the reflections from the target objects, we can determine the locations of underground cavities, water accumulations, buried pipes such as water and gas lines, rebar within building walls, and geological boundaries. [Examples of Use] ■ Investigation of cavities and looseness ■ Diagnosis of structural deterioration ■ Survey of underground buried pipes *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Refraction method elastic wave exploration service "Refraction Tomography"

Analysis using tomographic methods!

Our company proposes a method called "refraction tomography," which applies tomographic techniques such as CT scans in medical fields to conventional elastic wave exploration. Through special iterative processing, we determine the two-dimensional velocity distribution of the ground. Additionally, since the calculation accuracy is proportional to the amount of data, it is necessary to take measurement points densely. 【Application Fields】 ■ Site investigation: Classification of rocks and soil due to excavation difficulty ■ Slope disaster prevention and cut slope investigation: Estimation of the gradient of stable areas ■ Landslide investigation: Understanding the depth of moving soil masses ■ Shotcrete slope investigation: Assessing the weathering condition behind deteriorated shotcrete ■ Tunnel, dam, and natural rock mountain investigation: Rock classification based on velocity values *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Pipeline burial location detection service

It is effective in areas where underground installations are congested!

We offer "pipeline buried location exploration." By setting a transmitter (low-frequency probe) on a self-propelled TV camera and running it inside the pipeline, we conduct position measurements using a dedicated receiver from the ground. By surveying on the ground and reading the coordinates, we can cross-reference the two sets of data to accurately determine the position and depth. 【Main Equipment】 ■ TV camera vehicle ■ Low-frequency probe + TV camera ■ Dedicated receiver ■ Gas detector *For more details, please contact us.

3D radar road inspection and exploration service

You can take multiple cross-sections of vertical, horizontal, and plan views on-site!

Our company offers road inspection and exploration using 3D radar surveying. By measuring three cross-sections—longitudinal (in the direction of travel), transverse (across the road), and horizontal (depth)—quickly and with high precision, we can rapidly and accurately obtain more detailed data. Additionally, the data obtained through analysis can be reflected in plans and cross-sectional diagrams alongside geological data and topographical information. 【Benefits of 3D Radar Surveying】 ■ It is possible to obtain multiple cross-sections, including longitudinal, transverse, and plan views, on-site. ■ The time required for what used to involve multiple back-and-forth trips in conventional radar surveying can be significantly reduced. ■ Exploration can be conducted while driving on public roads without road restrictions (can accommodate speeds of 50-60 km/h). ■ By emitting multiple electromagnetic waves simultaneously, it is possible to explore through the gaps in rebar mesh (depending on the spacing of the mesh). *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

Surface wave exploration services

For ground surveys of residential land and development sites, as well as levee surveys of rivers and investigations of cavities and looseness.

Among the elastic waves that propagate through the ground, waves that travel along free surfaces such as the ground surface are called surface waves. These waves have different propagation paths depending on their wavelength, resulting in variations in frequency and speed according to the S-wave velocity structure of the ground. Our company conducts surface wave surveys to derive the S-wave velocity structure from the way this dispersion occurs. The S-wave velocity structure can be converted to other physical property values (such as N values). Please feel free to contact us if you have any requests. 【Features】 ■ Excellent super vibration efficiency ■ Analysis diagram of two-dimensional cross-section *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
